TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery in Wakefield that is looking to appoint a Nursery Manager on a permanent basis. This Early Years setting is committed to providing a safe, stimulating and caring environment where children can thrive, while supporting staff development and promoting a positive team culture.

The nursery is looking to appoint a full-time Nursery Manager from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to progress into their first Nursery Manager role, leading the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education, supporting staff development and maintaining compliance with EYFS requirements.

The successful Nursery Manager will have:

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential)
• At least 1 year''s previous experience as a Deputy Manager or in a senior nursery leadership role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
