Nursery Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to join a well-established nursery group in Kensington, Greater London. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on management style, excellent communication and team building skill.Person Specification:Level 3 Childcare qualification or above Minimum 2 years experience in a similar roleTrack record of involvement in Ofsted InspectionsBasic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)Some of the Nursery Manager responsibilities will include: Leading by example and managing day to day nursery operationsWorking closely with operations managers and managing KPI sBuilding positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groupsDeveloping a staff team, managing recruitment, induction, ongoing supervisions, conducting regular staff assessments, identifying and sourcing training needsSupervision of the planning and preparation of activities in line with EYFS to develop all aspects of the child''s interindividual learning and developmentEnsuring staff understand and adhere to all nursery policy and proceduresManaging budgets and keep accurate records of staffing, payroll, banking, petty cash, issuing invoices and fee collectionManaging Staff Rotas and meetingsMaintaining accurate records to include accident, incident, medication, registers and risk assessmentTo ensure the nursery is running to its full capacity by effectively managing enquiries, conducting show-rounds, ..... full job details .....
