LITTLE LEARNERS JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE MANAGER TITLE: Nursery School Manager ACCOUNTABILITY: The post holder will be responsible to the owners of the Nursery. RESPONSIBILITY: The manager will be responsible for the management of all the staff in the setting when necessary. LOCATIONS: Little Learners In The Park, Durnsford Recreation Ground, SW19. Little Learners In The Gardens, Southfields, SW18. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 2-5 years. All aplicants must hold a LEVEL 3 qualification in childcare and have at least three years management experience. To manage the day to day activities of the setting. To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others. To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child development. To manage other staff within the nursery. To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the owners. MAIN DUTIES: Take overall responsibility for all aspects of the operation of the nursery school, including the management and deployment of staff and the safety, security, education and wellbeing of all children in line with the written policies of Little Learners Nursery School, Ofsted registration requirements and all statutory legislation.
