Nursery Manager

Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per year

Hours: Term time – 31 hrs/week | Holiday clubs – 42 hrs/week | No weekends

Tiny Tots Recruitment is excited to be working with a vibrant and community-focused Out of School Club who are looking for an experienced Manager to lead their Breakfast, After School, and Holiday Club provision in Lauder.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a well-established setting that supports children aged 3–11. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, leading a supportive team, and ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for every child.

The Role:

• Manage the daily operations of the breakfast, after school, and holiday clubs
• Lead and inspire a team of staff, supporting their development
• Create engaging play opportunities that promote confidence and creativity
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety standards
• Manage administration, bookings, fees, and occupancy levels
• Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and the local community

About You:

• Experience managing in a childcare, play, or educational setting (minimum 2 years)
• Relevant childcare/education qualification (SCQF Level 9 or working towards)
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and safeguarding best practice
• SSSC registration (or ability to register)
