The successful candidate will help ensure children receive balanced meals while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.The role offers consistent part-time hours, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook nutritious meals suitable for young children.Follow menus and cater for allergies, dietary requirements and individual needs.Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.Ensure food is stored, prepared and served in accordance with food safety procedures.Monitor kitchen supplies and help manage stock levels.Complete food safety records and temperature checks where required.Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for daily service.Work alongside nursery staff to ensure meals are served on time.RequirementsPrevious experience working in a nursery or school kitchen is essential.Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food ..... full job details .....
