You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring all food is prepared to a high standard while meeting food hygiene regulations and dietary requirements. The role is Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 1pm. This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in supporting children''s health, wellbeing and development through healthy eating. Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children alongside the nursery manager. Cater for allergies, intolerance''s, cultural and medical dietary requirements. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in line with Food Standards Agency guidelines. Monitor stock levels and order food and kitchen supplies as required. Ensure food is stored safely and correctly. Complete daily cleaning schedules and food safety records. Work closely with the nursery team to promote healthy eating habits.
