We are looking for a reliable and caring Nursery Assistant to join our friendly early years team based in the Kingshill area.

This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting children with their daily routines, activities and learning.
• Creating a safe, positive and welcoming environment.
• Assisting with indoor and outdoor activities.
• Supporting the wider nursery team with day-to-day duties.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a genuine interest in working with young children.
• Be reliable, patient and approachable.
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to learn and develop within the role.
• Be available to work full time.

Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable, although applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Hours: Full time

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate''s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client''s pay policy.
