TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Hucknall, NG15, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Assistant. The nursery is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual who can support children''s learning and development while helping to create a safe, positive and engaging environment.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis from ASAP, working 3 days per week from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility required around which days are worked each week. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, assisting with daily care routines, delivering age-appropriate activities and working closely with the nursery team to provide high-quality childcare.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)

• Previous experience working within a nursery setting (essential)

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures

• Confidence supporting children''s learning, development and daily care routines

• Flexibility to work different days each week depending on the nursery''s requirements

• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach with excellent communication skills
