Nursery Assistant

Key Responsibilities:Child Development: Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Play-Based Learning: Assist in planning and delivering creative, play-based activities that promote curiosity, independence, and imagination.Care and Wellbeing: Help with daily routines including snack times, toileting, and outdoor play while ensuring each child feels valued and secure.Observation and Assessment: Contribute to observations and records of children''s progress to support individual learning journeys.Classroom Support: Work collaboratively with room leaders and practitioners to create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment.Safeguarding: Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of every child.Teamwork: Support colleagues and contribute positively to the life of the nursery.Contract Details:Position: Nursery AssistantLocation: HydeType of Work: Long Term / Short Term TemporaryContract Type: ContractFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM (may vary slightly depending on setting)End Date: OngoingExperience and Qualifications:Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years environment desirable.Training: Recent safeguarding training preferred; training will be provided.Eligibility Requirements:Right to ..... full job details .....
