Nursery Assistant

Do you hold a Level 2  Childcare Qualification or unqualified with at least 6 months experience working with young children from 6 months to reception age?
Are you passionate with working in the nurseries and the early years age groups?
We are looking for nursery assistants of all levels who are passionate about working in the nursery setting and happy to commute to different locations.
About the role:

• Assisting the nursery teams with providing a safe, clean & happy environment for children
• Working with 3 key age groups
• Participating in activities and engaging with the children
• Helping with meals and snacks

Typical Shift times can range from the hours 8.00am until 6.00pm but there are other shorter times that are required for those who cannot work the full day.
This role would suit:

• Someone with at least 6 months minimum experience in a nursery set up.
• Someone who is flexible and able to travel
• Someone with a genuine love and passion with working with children and in nurseries
• Someone who can work a few days a week if not all week

Candidates must:

• Hold a clean and valid DBS
• Have 5 years of recent references
• Be experienced in working in a fast-paced demanding environment
• Report incidents regarding the safety and wellbeing of the children
• Have knowledge of safeguarding and be prepared to do some training if offered
• Be based in the local area or prepared to travel
• Have at least a minimum of 6 months professional experience working with 0–4-year-olds
• Have knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum
