Nursery Assistants urgently required - Newcastle-under-LymeAcademics are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team to work across the Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.Responsibilities:* Assisting in the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the nursery''s policies and procedures.* Engaging children in age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, to promote their physical, cognitive, and social development.* Supporting the nursery staff in implementing planned educational programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.* Assisting with meal and snack times, promoting healthy eating habits and good table manners.* Monitoring and observing children, noting their progress, and reporting any concerns to the senior staff.* Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and play areas regularly.* Adhering to safeguarding procedures and maintaining a vigilant attitude towards child protection.Requirements:* Early Childhood Education qualification or a related field.* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable but not essential.* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.* Knowledge of child development theories and age-appropriate activities.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.* Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each child.* A warm and caring personality, with a nurturing approach towards children.If you are passionate about early childhood education and want to make a positive impact on children''s lives, we would love to hear from you.
