The ideal candidate should hold a relevant qualification in Early Years, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and have prior experience working in a nursery setting. The Nursery Assistant will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that support children''s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS.
As a key member of the team, the Nursery Assistant will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children. They will be expected to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well within a team.
The Nursery Assistant will be required to maintain accurate records of children''s progress, development, and daily activities, in line with the nursery''s policies and procedures. They will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
