Nursery Assistant Apprentice

Reeson Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in South Croydon that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant Apprentice to join their team on a full-time basis from April.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in Early Years education while working towards a recognised qualification. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across the nursery, supporting children''s learning, development and care within a structured and nurturing environment.

The Role

• Supporting children across Babies, Toddlers and Pre-School

• Assisting with play-based learning activities

• Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

• Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care

• Working closely with experienced Early Years practitioners

• Completing coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme

The successful candidate will:

• Be aged 18 or over

• Show a genuine interest in working with young children

• Be reliable, proactive and eager to learn

• Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills

• Be willing to complete an Early Years qualification

• Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children''s welfare
