We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting in Heywood. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during their crucial early development stages.

About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

• Support children aged 0-5 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

• Assist with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

• Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

• Support children with additional needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required

• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support children''s learning and development

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months'' experience working within an EYFS setting

• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum

• SEN experience is highly desirable

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential depending on experience)
