Nursery Assistant - Location: Penkridge - Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant''s who are ready to jump in a support a private nursery in the heart of Penkridge. Following on from an exciting recent establishment of a new partnership with a local nursery we are now seeking dedicated, caring Nursery Assistant''s to support the Nursery on a regular basis providing consistent, high-quality care for each and every child in your care.

This is a flexible role for Early Years and Nursery Practitioners seeking more temporary working arrangement working for a reputable supply agency, working around your life and commitments. The role is open to both part-time and full-time hours.

The responsibilities of a Nursery Assistant:

• Working alongside teachers and Nursery Assistants to deliver fun EYFS activities, interventions and lessons which support both the academic and personal growth of all children.
• Consistently providing exceptional standards of care to all children, ensuring that a safe and nurturing environment is maintained for each and every child.
• Support children''s early literacy, numeracy, communication and personal development on a daily basis; sharing your
• Encourage growth and independence by supporting children in daily tasks which promote independence and positive behaviour.

To be considered for this role, applicants who apply must have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• A strong level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or Grade C and above/Functional Skills Level 2 in the minimum required).
• Previous experience working with young children whether this is in a nursery or primary school setting. This experience will stand you in good stead to jump straight into a busy nursery environment.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Paediatric First Aid (or be willing to work towards).

Pay -14.24 - -15 an hour, holiday pay is included in the day rate.
