With this small group living, we can provide a homely and supportive environment that’s responsive to individual needs.Springfield Vale''s 3-week bespoke induction will start January 2026!About the roleAs a Unit Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for the people living on your designated unit.No two days will ever be the same, but your responsibilities will include:Leading your unit’s care and nursing teams to ensure we meet the medical, physical, and emotional needs of the people we supportProviding strong leadership to maintain and develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvementOverseeing and managing all your unit’s clinical elements and risksEnsuring care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner, reflecting appropriate care interventionsActing as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for oversight, review, and update of their care profilesSupervising and managing your unit’s medication processes, including ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposalDownload our job description to read more.Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork.You’ll be a natural role model with the ability to manage your team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants.Additionally, you will have:A thorough understanding of best practice in nursing careExcellent clinical and communication skillsAn enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating peopleThe ability to work confidently on your own initiativeA good standard of digital skillsTo apply, you must have a current nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN. We welcome experienced Nurses from all backgrounds, including Adult, Mental Health, and Learning Disability Nurses / RGN, RMN, RNLD.As this is a management role, you should also have post-registration management or supervisory experience and/or qualifications.
