Disability Assessor – Hybrid Role (Truro)
Location: Truro (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
Salary: £39,500 – £41,500 + 10% Annual Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time and Part-Time Options

You’ll be working on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), conducting functional assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applicants.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out in-person functional assessments at the Truro centre (2 days/week)
- Write clinical reports from home (3 days/week) based on your assessments
- Assess how various physical and mental health conditions impact daily life
- Work in a structured, policy-led environment with ongoing clinical support
- Starting salary: £39,500 rising to £41,500 after 12 months
- Annual bonus: 10%
- Holidays: 33 days (including bank holidays)
- Schedule: No nights, weekends, or shift work
- Training: Full-time paid training with ongoing clinical development
