Daytime Healthcare are assisting a high-end Ophthalmology Clinic in Marylebone who are seeking A Nurse Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician to join their team. This will initially be likely for 12 months fixed term, with a view to becoming a permanent position. Ophthalmic experience is preferred, however full training is available. This position is mainly Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support (Nursing Assistant Duties) Act as a runner in the Operating Room, assisting with stock preparation, patient transfers, and theatre logistics (non-scrub role) Support nurses with administrative duties including patient notes, ordering, and maintaining clinical supplies Prepare and chaperone patients for laser refractive and intraocular surgeries Assist with post-operative checks and follow-up care appointments Administer pre-approved eye drops and medication under supervision and in line with local protocols Provide information to patients regarding post-op instructions (following approved scripts/checklists) Escalate any clinical queries or concerns appropriately to registered staff Diagnostic Support (Ophthalmic Technician Duties) Perform diagnostic tests such as OCT, visual fields, topography, tonometry, and fundus photography (full training provided) Ensure accurate data entry and imaging capture for clinician review Prepare equipment and testing rooms before and after patient use Support the flow of patients through the diagnostic process You must have experience ..... full job details .....
