( Full training provided) The role duties: Underwriting Review funding applications and proceed through the underwriting process to loan completion. Carry out credit / fraud / anti-money laundering checks. Instruct valuation reports / solicitors / quantity surveyors. Administer live cases through to redemption of the loan. Liaise with lawyers, surveyors, brokers and borrowers to ensure the loan and due diligence process progresses smoothly. Conduct post-completion communication with borrowers to ensure their project is progressing satisfactorily. Experience A recent graduate, preferably with a degree in accounting, business studies, finance or similar. Able to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues / brokers / solicitors / customers. A good communicator, giving credible reasoning for considering / declining deals. Professional telephone manner. Accountable for own work load / decisions. Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Generally IT literate with a good ability to adapt to new systems and platforms.
