NSCMS Project Manager (Tech Specialist)

The NSCMS (National Safeguarding Case Management System) Project Manager (Tech Specialist) is responsibile for managing procurement and the implementation of a new safeguarding case management system for the Church of England Central Services'' National Safeguarding Team. The NSCMS (National Safeguarding Case Management System) Project Manager (Technical Specialist) will work closely with the Deputy Director for Development to lead the procurement and implementation of a replacement safeguarding case management system. The role will involve engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to identify operational and safeguarding requirements, translate these into a comprehensive service specification, and manage the procurement process to secure a solution that is secure, user-friendly, and fit for purpose. The postholder will be responsible for leading the project through its full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and business case development through to procurement, implementation planning, and transition into business as usual. This includes overseeing governance and reporting arrangements, financial and budget management, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, risk and issue management, and ensuring the new system meets the operational, safeguarding, and user needs of dioceses, cathedrals, and the National Church Institutions.
