About the Role

Expert Employment seeks an NPI Project Manager, electronic hardware, based in Crewe. This permanent post, salaried between £42,000 and £68,000, centres on steering new product introduction plus sustaining work across electronics, control, measurement and semiconductor programmes, from concept through to production and launch. The successful candidate holds a technical degree and proven project management experience within precision manufacturing, industrial technology or comparable settings. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems, stage gate development methods and continuous improvement principles is essential. Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM or APM PMQ, or progress toward one, is expected. Duties include directing several concurrent projects throughout the full development lifecycle.

Project Manager required to drive the execution of NPI and sustaining electronics, control, measurement and semiconductor projects through cross functional development from concept to production and launch.
Requirements
Project Management experience in electronic hardware, semiconductor equipment, industrial technology, or comparable precision manufacturing environment.
Familiar with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems and audit processes.
Continuous improvement mindset
CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP or APM PMQ certification or working toward.
Bachelor degree in engineering, science, or a related technical subject.
Stage gate or similar product development processes knowledge.
Responsibilities
Manage execution of multiple projects across the product development lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business teams to drive project milestones and resolve blockers.
Track project financials including budget consumption and variance reporting, escalating concerns before they become problems.
Maintain project documentation consistent with ISO quality system requirements, ensuring deliverables and decisions are traceable and auditable.
