      <description>Location: Plymouth | Salary: &amp;pound;35000 - &amp;pound;45000/annum | Type: Permanent | We are looking for a practical NPI and Technical Engineer to manage projects from initial customer enquiry through to manufacture. The role involves liaising directly with customers, preparing quotations, producing manufacturing drawings, and supporting production to ensure successful delivery.    The ideal candidate will have experience using  SolidWorks  (preferred) or  AutoCAD  as a minimum. Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential, with sheet metal fabrication preferred. Knowledge of CNC machining and programming would be advantageous, but not essential.     Key Responsibilities:    Customer &amp; Quoting     Liaise with customers from initial enquiry through to quotation.   Review drawings and specifications to determine manufacturing methods and costs.   Prepare accurate quotations, including materials, subcontract processes and tooling.   Advise customers on design improvements and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.   Follow up quotations and respond to customer queries.
