NPD Technologist

We''re recruiting an NPD Technologist to join the product development team of a leading food manufacturer.This is a hands-on role managing new and modified chilled / short shelf-life products from concept through to factory launch, working closely with NPD, Technical, Commercial, Marketing and Production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage NPD and EPD projects against agreed timelinesDevelop chilled and short shelf-life food productsCoordinate and attend factory trials, product sampling and shelf-life testingSupport industrial validations, costings and product documentationManage project critical paths and communicate progress to stakeholdersResearch food trends and identify new product opportunitiesCoordinate pre-launch, launch and post-launch activitiesSupport successful product handover into manufacturing You''ll ideally have:Practical experience of factory trials, sampling and shelf-life analysisStrong project and time management skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and work independentlyA proactive, hands-on approach to product developmentDegree or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline would be advantageousA great opportunity to develop your NPD career within an established food manufacturer, gaining exposure to the full product development lifecycle and working on a varied portfolio of products.If you''re an NPD Technologist, Food Technologist or Product Development Technologist ..... full job details .....
