NPD Assistant

MacGregor Black are partnering with a confidential, market-leading food manufacturer to recruit an NPD Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative business, supporting the NPD team with sample preparation, product trials, shelf-life testing and day-to-day development activities. You''ll play an important role in bringing new products from concept to launch while working closely with Technical, Operations and Supply Chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer samples and manage the NPD kitchen.
• Coordinate shelf-life testing and record results.
• Support Concept and Process Technologists with product development activities.
• Maintain accurate product documentation and specifications.
• Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene and organisation.
• Assist with market research and wider NPD projects.

What We''re Looking For

• Passion for food and product development.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience within food manufacturing or NPD is advantageous but not essential.
