36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts on internal rotation)To care for patients with palliative care needs.To provide support, personal, and respite care for patients and their families at our Inpatient Unit.Main duties of the job

Work in accordance with the policies and procedures of St. David''s Hospice Care and the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Ensure patients'' comfort and dignity at all times.Work alongside patients and nurses, respecting their need for privacy.Perform basic nursing procedures as per St. David''s Care Plan and document all interventions.Report any changes in patients'' conditions to the nurse in charge of the shift.Assist with patients'' personal hygiene and toileting needs as appropriate.Maintain a safe environment for self, patients, and carers at all times.Be familiar with the Care Decisions Tool for the last days of life.About us
