Non-Resident Boarding Assistant Location: Wymondham Salary: Scale Point 5 FTE £26,427, Hourly Rate £13.70 plus holiday pay Vacancy Type: Bank Wymondham College Prep School opened in September 2020 on the site of Wymondham College, with two Reception classes, a total of 60 pupils. In September 2021 we opened our doors to our new Prep School building, as well as our new boarding facilities, Underwood Hall. We believe that every child deserves to love their time at school and to remember it fondly. To facilitate this, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring and well-organised Deputy Boarding House Manager to join our richly rewarding school and boarding house. THE POST Reporting to the Head of Boarding and Assistant Head - Pastoral, a Non-Resident Boarding Assistant (NRBA) is an integral part of the Prep School s boarding house team, primarily providing quality care and pastoral support to our young people in the boarding houses. This NRBA post is on a bank basis and reallocated annually to new staff and volunteers who wish to continue, based on availability of duties for volunteers (once mandatory duties are filled) and previous performance in role. As a Non Resident Boarding Assistant (NRBA) you will be an integral part of the Prep School s boarding house team, to primarily provide quality care and pastoral support to our young people in the boarding houses.
