Activities encompass the acoustic prediction of components for future engines and in-service products within the engine and nacelle. It includes verification and validation of engine and component designs via analysis and rig or engine testing, and support of Aircraft Certification of future and in-service products via static and flight noise testing.The role also includes the definition and execution of technology acquisition programmes to deliver novel technology and concepts for noise reduction.
