Our client in Thurrock is looking for a reliable and hardworking NLGV Driver-Operative Street Cleansing to join its Clean and Green Services team. This is a hands-on, outdoor role involving street cleaning, manual labour and driving non-LGV vehicles to help maintain clean, safe and attractive public spaces across Thurrock. Key Responsibilities For a NLGV Driver Operative- Street Cleansing: Carry out street cleaning, litter picking and manual street sweeping across roads, footpaths, car parks and residential areas. Drive and operate non-LGV vehicles under 3,500kg GVW, including small mechanical sweepers. Remove graffiti, flyposting, fly-tipping, leaves and weeds. Empty litter and dog waste bins and assist with the safe removal of waste and other debris. Operate equipment such as blowers, strimmer s and other cleaning tools, where trained and authorised.
