NIGHTSHIFT
position on behalf of a leading defence equipment manufacturer based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This is a contract role although highly likely to be long-term. Candidates
MUST
have prior experience soldering under a microscope in order to be considered.Nightshift hours are 9pm to 6:30am.Role Overview (continued)
Nightshift Microelectronics Operator will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing and self-certification tasks within the deployed business, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.Responsibilities
Soldering under a microscopeCarry out detailed standard assembly/manufacturing activities, undertaking all work to requisite procedures, quality standards, safety requirements and timescalesContribute to the efficient movement of work and information in the manufacturing areaAdhere in all activities to agreed standards and behavioursComply with all health and safety requirementsSkillset/experience required
Previous Microelectronics experience ESSENTIALPrior Soldering under a microscope experience ESSENTIALDexterity for fine workRead and interpret layoutsIPC 610 certified / trained preferredFollow instructionsWork on own with minimal supervisionPC literateSeniority level
