Nightshift Lineside Quality Engineer

MERITUS are recruiting for a Nightshift Lineside Quality Engineer. The role pays a basic rate of £40.13 per hour, but when conducting overtime, you will be paid a 30% upliift on top of the hourly rate. NIGHTSHIFT LINESIDE ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £52.16 PER HOUR (INCLUSIVE OF 30% NIGHTSHIT UPLIFT) - 9 MONTHS - BROUGHTON, FLINTSHIRE - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW - MUST HAVE HNC/HND OR BENG Provide hands-on technical support to production teams, resolving manufacturing issues, minimising disruption and improving quality, efficiency and production flow. Working closely with operators, FLMs and engineering/support functions, you will investigate technical problems, manage non-conformances and rework, and provide the technical information needed to keep production moving. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve shopfloor production and technical issues. Identify, document and support resolution of Non-Conformances (NCs), assembly anomalies and defects. Support root-cause analysis, containment and corrective actions. Create and manage rework work orders and supporting technical documentation. Provide drawings, specifications, tooling and other technical information to production. Identify and escalate blocked or delayed work and support production prioritisation. Work with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics and other support teams to resolve issues. Support Lean, continuous improvement and waste-reduction initiatives.
