As a Night Support Assistant in our Camden Young People s Service, you will be part of the steady, trusted presence that helps young people feel safe, seen and supported when they need it most. You ll work in our supported accommodation service for young people aged 16 and over, helping to create a calm, nurturing and secure environment through the night. Day to day, this will include completing welfare checks, responding to incidents or emergencies, monitoring building safety, recording and handing over key information, supporting young people who may be distressed or struggling, and helping make sure the service runs smoothly until the day team arrive. This is more than keeping a building open overnight. It s about building meaningful, boundaried relationships with young people, responding with warmth and confidence, and knowing when to act, when to listen and when to escalate.
