Night Shift Transport Supervisor

Alma Personnel are pleased to announce we are currently working with our Birmingham based client to recruit for a NIGHT SHIFT Transport Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis.

The hours of work are 12am-9am.

The main duties of a Transport Supervisor:-

• Managing people and assets for the overnight inbound trunking process-
• Managing the picking and loading of morning C&D vehicles-
• Importing XPO files
• Planning trailers-
• Creating pick sheets
• Allocating resources-
• Ensuring all freight is scanned correctly, both in and out of the site-
• Supporting the team
• Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders-
• Carrying out periodic training-
• Covering for the shift manager if needed-

Required Experience:-

• You MUST have a Counterbalance FLT License-
• Experience within a Transport Supervisor position-
• Good IT skills-
• Understanding of Transport Management Systems-
• You MUST have knowledge of Health and Safety and take it seriously-
