What to expect as a Night Shift Transport Controller:The role requires a Transport Manager CPC qualification and strong operational judgement. Working hours are 9pm - 5am.Allocate vehicles and drivers to scheduled routes, ensuring compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and Working Time Directive.Monitor live transport activity throughout the night, adjusting plans proactively to manage delays, breakdowns, or customer changes.Ensure all loads are dispatched accurately, safely, and on time.Maintain real time communication with drivers, providing instructions, updates, and support.Apply Transport Manager CPC knowledge to ensure all night operations meet legal and company standards.Conduct checks on driver documentation, vehicle defects, and compliance reports.Handle performance issues, ..... full job details .....
