The Role, Features & Benefits
On the night shift roster which has a scheduled roster of 20:15pm–05:00am, 4 on 4 off / 5 on 3 off, you will be part of the team that transforms trains overnight, ready for thousands of passengers the next day. This is an active & hands on role, with every shift bringing visible results.
You’ll be tasked with a variety of cleaning tasks which ranges from vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising touchpoints, deep cleaning of the train carriages, restrooms and de-tanking toilets, wiping down tables, windows, and panels, with a general up-keep to ensure the trains are spotless and passenger-ready.
This is an exciting opportunity tosee the difference you make at the end of every shift, where you shall be part of a team which takes pride in their work within a supportive environment. With this being an active role, you will be engaged with a variety of cleaning tasks, gain valuable experience in the rail industry, with clear routes for progression within train presentation and alternative departments such as engineering.
You will bringphysical capabilities to perform your duties to a high standard whilst using industry specific cleaning equipment, a keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards. Superb reliability, enthusiasm, and commitment, whilst ideally holding previous cleaning experience within sectors such as transport, industrial, or housekeeping, this would be of benefit but not essential – full training and PPE are provided.
