The Company
You’ll be joining a well-established organisation in the rail sector, recognised for its strong commitment to training, development, and inclusion. With operations at over 200 sites, this company plays a vital role in keeping the UK rail network moving.
The Role
As part of the night shift cleaning team, you’ll ensure trains are cleaned to a high standard before entering service. Your tasks will include:
- Interior and exterior train cleaning
- Deep cleaning, hoovering, mopping, and touchpoint sanitisation
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Saturday: 22:30pm – 05:30am
- Sunday: 22:00pm – 06:00am
- Overtime often available on weekends
Pay & Benefits
- Standard Hours (35 hrs/week): £13.85 p/h
- Overtime (36+ hrs): £20.78 p/h
- Rest Days: £20.78 p/h
- Sundays: £24.24 p/h
After 12 weeks, pay increases in line with AWR. Successful contractors are frequently offered permanent roles, making this a fantastic long-term opportunity.
About You
To be considered, you should ideally have cleaning experience in vehicle, industrial, or domestic settings.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Willingness to work night shifts consistently
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
Full training is provided, covering depot safety, protection, and cleaning procedures.
