In this role, you will ensure trains are spotless, safe, and ready to welcome thousands of passengers each morning. Working nights from midnight until 7:00 am, Monday to Friday, you will be part of a dedicated team that transforms trains overnight. Weekend overtime shifts may also be available (20:00pm 04:00am or 22:00pm 06:00am). Every shift delivers visible results, with your work making a direct impact on passenger comfort and safety.This is a practical, hands-on role where you will carry out the meticulous hand-bashing process, using brushes, mops, and specialist cleaning solutions to remove dirt and graffiti, ensuring external carriages are spotless. It is a physical job where attention to detail and pride in your work matter most, leaving you with the satisfaction of knowing you have made a difference at the end of each shift. In return, you will earn a competitive starting rate of £13.85 per hour, with enhanced pay for overtime, rest days, and Sunday nights.
