Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in supervising the night shift, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting the wider team.This role is ideal for someone with previous pallet network experience who is looking to develop their leadership skills, with the opportunity to progress into a Shift Manager position over time.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of the night shift.Supervise warehouse and operational staff to ensure productivity and service standards are met.Ensure freight is handled safely, accurately, and within network deadlines.Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) where required.Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety procedures.Use warehouse and transport management systems accurately and effectively.Assist with staff training, performance, and operational support.Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to minimise disruption.Promote a positive, safety-first culture across the team.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or transport operation.Ideally, previous experience working within a pallet network environment.Valid Counterbalance FLT ..... full job details .....
