This is a permanent night shift position offering an excellent salary, a four-day working week, and the opportunity to work within a professional and fast-paced environment.The RoleAs an MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards by carrying out MOT inspections in accordance with DVSA regulations. The position is focused specifically on MOT testing, requiring a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering accurate and compliant inspections.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with current DVSA standards and procedures.Inspect vehicles to assess their roadworthiness, safety, and compliance with legal requirements.Examine key vehicle components including: Brakes and braking systemsSteering and suspensionTyres and wheelsLights and electrical componentsWindscreens, wipers, and washersExhaust and emissions systemsSeatbelts and other safety featuresAccurately record inspection findings using the MOT testing system.Identify defects and clearly communicate reasons for MOT failures.Ensure all testing equipment is used correctly and maintained appropriately.Adhere to DVSA regulations and company ..... full job details .....
