About the Role
This temporary Night Shift Manager role in Central London offers £20 per hour plus holiday pay, working overnight hours on an ad hoc basis. The successful candidate oversees the hotel as Manager on Duty, welcoming late arrivals, addressing guest requests and complaints, completing audits and operational checks, and ensuring security and safety throughout the night. Applicants need prior Front Office supervisory or management experience, ideally gained within a luxury hotel, alongside strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to handle unexpected situations. Duties also include monitoring maintenance issues and providing a clear handover to the daytime team each morning.
Night Manager - ADHOC
As a Night Manager, youandrsquo;ll be responsible for the smooth running of the hotel overnight, ensuring excellent guest service, security and operational standards.
Pay: andpound;20 per hour
Location: Central London
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hotel as Manager on Duty throughout the night.
- Welcome late arrivals and handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Complete overnight audits and operational checks.
- Ensure the hotel is secure, safe and ready for the morning team.
- Handle unexpected situations professionally.
- Monitor and resolve maintenance, security and operational issues.
- Provide a clear handover to the daytime team.
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Previous Front Office supervisory or management experience, ideally in a luxury hotel.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Experience with Opera Cloud.
- Calm, professional and confident when handling challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
