Night shift Hygiene Operative

Hygiene Operator Nights Thetford £14.83 Per Hour (Including Shift Allowance) Monday to Friday 10pm - 6am Temp to Perm Hales Group are recruiting on behalf of our established client for a Hygiene Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all production areas, equipment, and facilities meet the highest hygiene and sanitation standards. This role plays a vital part in maintaining product safety, supporting audit compliance, and promoting a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out scheduled cleaning of production lines, food-contact surfaces, machinery, and surrounding areas. Safely dismantle and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Operate cleaning equipment and use hygiene chemicals safely, including CIP systems, foaming equipment, and disinfectants. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards and within designated timescales. Dispose of waste materials in line with company procedures and environmental guidelines. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the facility. Health and Safety: Adhere to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments. Wear and maintain the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
