This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and quality workmanship within a fast-paced production environment.Shift and PayMonday - Thursday NightsShift Hours: 5:30pm - 3:45amPay Rate: 15.94 per hour (includes 1.50 night shift allowance)Long weekend every week - Friday offKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Cross Cut Saw Operative, your duties will include:Operating cross cut saw machinery to cut timber, boards, and other materials to specificationReading and interpreting cutting lists, measurements, and production instructionsSetting up and adjusting saw equipment for different materials and job requirementsEnsuring all cuts are accurate and meet required quality standardsCarrying out basic machine maintenance and identifying faults where necessaryMeasuring and preparing materials prior to processingPerforming regular quality checks to maintain consistency and precisionSupporting wider production teams where requiredMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised work areaWorking to production targets and following team leader instructionsAdhering to all health and safety procedures when operating machineryRequirementsPrevious experience operating a cross cut saw or similar woodworking machinery - essentialExperience ..... full job details .....
