Overview

We are looking for an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others. You\''ll be working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) within Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. Cygnet Bury Forestwood offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services across four wards which provide a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge including rapid assessment and treatment. Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir. In addition there is a diverse educational programme teaching a range of subjects available at the on-site school, Forestwood School, which is registered with the Department for Education. Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanlinessCarry out daily and weekly cleaning regimesMaintain and replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean and well maintainedEmploy safe working practices and adhere to health and safety proceduresComply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulationsQualifications and Requirements

Experienced in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable)Friendly, conscientious and have a positive attitudeA good communicatorSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS checkBenefits and Additional Information
