You will

be responsible for

patient monitoring, treatment administration, and ensuring seamless communication between day and night teams.Medivet Leamington Spa is a modern 24-hour Veterinary Hospital that offers a safe and secure working environment in the heart of the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire close to Stratford-upon-Avon and its theatres. Leamington Spa has excellent road links close to the M1, M40, M6 and Birmingham Airport is just a 30 minute drive.The practice is fully equipped with digital x-ray facilities including dental X-ray, ECG, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, bronchoscope, multiparameter monitor and well-equipped for laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgeries. Other facilities include 3 consult rooms, 1 dental room, a theatre, imaging room, full in-house lab and separate cat and dog kennel areas as well as isolation kennels and recovery kennels in a large prep room with 2 additional work stations.This role is

a 7 nights

on, 14

nights

Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.

Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.

Deliver patient monitoring and care.

Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.

Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.

Dispense and check medication.

Deliver professional excellence,

complying with

all regulatory, practice and operational standards.

Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and ExperienceR

C

VS registered Veterinary

Nurse.

Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Experienced in working effectively as part of a team

Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to

practice

performance and efficien

cy

.

Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
