We are currently recruiting a driven and welcoming

Night Receptionist (Casual)

to be a part of our main Welcoming gem, the Ambassador of the Hotel, the Front Office (Nights) Department.

Key qualities we are looking from the Night Receptionist:

As Night Receptionist you will be responsible for supporting the Night Manager in looking after the Guests and in conjunction with the Security Department, looking after the Hotel Property throughout the night so that our Guests have an exquisite stay.You will need to have a sound knowledge of Front Office procedures ideally with experience of Opera Cloud and perform check in and check out processes.

The ideal candidate will have the following Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent Communication Skills

listening, written and oral.At least 1 years full Experience in working in the Front of House Reception Capacity in an established 5* Hotel establishment.Understand the importance of Impeccable Hotel Guest Service and how to deliver it.Impeccable Attention to Detail.Analytical Skills.Excellent Organisational Skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure.Ability to multi task.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and question information received.Adaptable to changes and details orientated.

The main responsibilities for this role would include:

Providing personalised service with Guests and establish good relationships to ensure loyalty and future bookings using the Guests name as many times as appropriate and possible.Ensure the smooth running of the Front of House Reception during the night shift.Performing prompt and courteous check-in and check-out procedures and liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and the Security Departments where necessary.Handling incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.With the Night Manager, run the night audit for the Hotel and report any discrepancies.Assist Guests with recommendations in kindly directing them to the Restaurant (Quadrato Restaurant and Lounge) in the absence of Concierge.Taking, amending and processing Reservations in the absence of the Reservations Department.Carrying out Guest requests and ensure they are communicated to the relevant department and properly follow up.Have full knowledge of the hotel facilities, services and local area.Handling of client taxi requests.Reporting any Maintenance, Breakage or Cleanliness problems to the relevant department.Other ad hoc duties as requested by the Night Manager.
