Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting a Night Operations Coordinator to join their client’s Control Room in Brockworth. This is a full-time, temporary position with a salary of £30,050 per annum, operating Sunday to Thursday from 20:00. The role serves as the central data hub for a nationwide warehouse network, supporting multiple UK depots. You will drive performance through analysis and assist operational teams in maintaining consistent, high standards using established practices. Full training on internal systems is provided, so no prior experience with these tools is required. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who can manage data effectively in a logistics setting.

About the Role 
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Night Operations Coordinator to join their busy Gloucester Control Room. This is a central role within the operation, acting as the data hub for the wider warehouse network and supporting multiple depots across the UK.
You’ll play a key part in driving performance through data, supporting operational teams, and helping maintain a consistent, high-performing culture using best-in-class operational practices.
Full training will be provided on all internal systems – no prior knowledge required.
Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and analyse daily and weekly productivity data across the network
  • Monitor system compliance for up to 15 sites
  • Support operational teams with system and equipment queries
  • Communicate effectively with depots via phone, Microsoft Teams, and email
  • Assist with administrative duties within the Gloucester operation
  • Contribute to KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with teams at all levels of the operation
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to cover different shift patterns when require
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Knowledge of OMS (Operations Management Systems)
  • Experience with productivity reporting or data analysis
  • System-based operational experience
