Nights Manager- Nights (food manufacturing)Location: Stoke-On-Trent Salary: Up to £60,000 per annumHours: Sunday to Thursday, 9:30pm - 6:30amThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nights Manager to join a fast-paced food manufacturing business based in Stoke-On-Trent. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for leading the night shift operation, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction and Operations Lead the night shift operation to deliver the daily production planEnsure customer orders are completed accurately and on timeManage labour resources to maximise productivity and efficiencyMonitor production performance, yields and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvementMinimise waste across raw materials, packaging and consumablesLead daily operational meetings and communicate production performance across departments Team Management Lead, motivate and develop production teams and Senior Line LeadersConduct inductions, training, appraisals and ongoing performance reviewsManage attendance, absence, return-to-work interviews and holiday planningHandle employee relations matters, including disciplinary and performance management processesPromote a positive culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement Quality and Food Safety Ensure full compliance with food safety, GMP and HACCP standards.Carry out internal audits ..... full job details .....
