About the Role
This temporary Night Luggage Porter role in Central London supports a hotel team throughout overnight hours. Working night shifts, the post holder assists guests with luggage, delivers bags to rooms and collects them when required. They handle late arrivals and early departures, monitor public areas, report maintenance or security concerns and keep the lobby, entrance and luggage storage areas clean and organised. A warm, professional manner and reliability are essential, alongside the ability to work independently during quiet periods. The position offers £17 per hour plus holiday pay on a temporary contract through Berkeley Scott. Previous hospitality or portering experience would be beneficial but is not specified as mandatory.
Night Luggage Porter
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Night Luggage Porter to support the hotel team during overnight hours. Youandrsquo;ll assist guests with their luggage, provide excellent service and help ensure the hotel remains safe, clean and organised throughout the night.
Pay: andpound;17 per hour
Location: Central London
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with luggage and provide a warm, professional service.
- Deliver luggage to guest rooms and collect luggage when required.
- Assist with late arrivals and early departures.
- Support the night team with general hotel duties.
- Monitor public areas and report any maintenance or security issues.
- Keep the lobby, entrance and luggage areas clean and organised.
- Assist guests with requests throughout the night.
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
- Previous hotel, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Friendly, professional and reliable approach.
- Good spoken English.
- Comfortable working independently at night.
- Physically able to handle luggage safely.
- Good attention to detail and presentation.
