Night Forklift Operative

Location:-LS11 0LR
Shift Pattern:-Monday to Friday, 00:00 to 07:30
Hours:-37.5 hours per week (33% shift allowance for hours worked between 00:00 and 06:00)
Pay Rate:13.53 per hour

Job Purpose

We are looking for a-Night Forklift Operative-to join our warehouse team. The role is primarily focused on operating a VNA Forklift Truck to safely move, replenish, and store stock throughout the warehouse during the night shift. You''ll play a key role in maintaining stock availability, supporting warehouse efficiency, and ensuring high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a VNA Forklift Truck.

• Move, store, and replenish stock within the warehouse.

• Ensure stock is accurately located and recorded.

• Complete replenishment tasks to support picking operations.

• Check goods for damage and report discrepancies.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.

• Achieve productivity targets and follow operational procedures.

• Support wider warehouse activities as required.

Essential Requirements

• Previous VNA FLT experience and a valid licence.

• Experience within a warehouse environment.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on nights.
