Maintenance Engineer - Night ShiftMonday to Thursday 61,000 plus excellent benefitsThe RoleAn established FMCG manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its night shift engineering team.You will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and improving machinery reliability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and automation faults across production and packaging machinery.- Minimise downtime and identify root causes of recurring equipment failures.- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance.- Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient operations.- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards and are accurately recorded.About You- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent).- Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing, ideally FMCG or food production.- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.- A proactive approach to problem-solving and equipment reliability.- Ability to work independently and prioritise breakdowns on night shift. ..... full job details .....
