HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Hours: 48 per week, 5 shifts, night starts between 20:00 - 03:00
We''re looking for a reliable HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver to join a busy haulage team in Tewkesbury. This is a multi-drop role delivering chilled products to customers and depots across the UK. Newly qualified drivers are welcome - full training and development provided. Some drivers may start on Class 2 to support progression.
Key Duties
- Night-shift HGV driving (Class 1 or Class 2 depending on experience)
- Multi-drop deliveries of chilled goods
- Daily vehicle checks andamp; defect reporting
- Safe loading/unloading and manual handling
- Following all health andamp; safety and food hygiene procedures
- Using handheld devices to record deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, well-presented vehicle
Requirements
- Full UK CE licence
- Driver CPC andamp; Digi Tacho
- Physically fit for manual handling
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable with night work
